An Early Look: Air Jordan 3 x J Balvin 'Medellín Sunset'

The Colombian reggaeton sensation J Balvin is set to continue his colorful partnership with Jordan Brand in a brand-new sneaker collaboration. The Air Jordan 3, an iconic silhouette in the sneaker world, will be the next canvas for J Balvin's vibrant and playful design aesthetic.

The artist has been recently spotted in Miami, flaunting his upcoming Air Jordan 3 collaboration. Inspired by the picturesque sunsets of Medellín, his hometown, the sneaker infuses the tropical warmth into its design. The sneak peek left fans and sneakerheads eagerly anticipating the official release, rumored to be on September 2nd of 2023.

Though we're still waiting for official product pictures, the early shots of J Balvin wearing the sneakers, hint at what we can expect. The Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2, released in 2020 and 2022 respectively, were also marked by their bold colorways and J Balvin's signature iconography. It's confirmed that this upcoming release will continue the trend, turning heads with its audacious style.

In addition to the much-anticipated sneaker, J Balvin and Jordan Brand will also release a collaborative apparel collection. This fashion-forward line will reportedly include co-branded leather vests and woven jackets, ready to make a statement.

The Air Jordan 3 x J Balvin is expected to be released in full-family sizing, catering to unisex, preschool, and toddler sizes. This means that the entire family can rock these fresh 3s.

Despite the buzz, the official announcement from J Balvin or Jordan Brand has yet to arrive. However, we do know that J Balvin has already been spotted wearing the shoes on the set of his music video for “Toretto” on the Fast X soundtrack.

As we eagerly await more details, one thing is for sure: this collaboration promises a unique fusion of music, culture, and style, embodied in an iconic Jordan silhouette. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting launch.
